BPC-157 is investigated in experimental tissue-injury models. This study compared BPC-157, TB-500 and a combination in rats after Achilles tendon repair.
Preclinical animal study
A starting point in the literature
Researchers assessed tissue structure and mechanical strength. The BPC-157 group did not show statistically significant differences in the total histological scores described in the abstract. These exploratory animal findings do not establish outcomes in people.
